We needed 5000 balls to fill a homemade ball pit, and before we committed to the big purchase, we ordered a few different brands of pit balls from Amazon for comparison. These ewonder balls were in decent quality but much smaller in size compared with the cms, playhut or intex balls we sampled. 200 balls sounded like a whole lot of balls for $38; however, the lesser expensive pack of 150 cms balls Pack of 150 pcs Crush-Proof non-PVC Plastic Phthalate Free Ball Pit Balls in 5 Colors - 3.1" Air-Filled - Guaranteed Crush-Proof or Your Money Back is a much better value because of it's larger size. Based on my calculation using the xkcd ball pit calculator, we would need over 7200 of these smaller ewonder balls and would cost us an additional $300 to fill the ball pit. The intex balls seems to be the largest balls but it crush easily. We settled on the cms balls which were the best quality balls in our opinion and the least expensive overall.
